Bringing Safe Water
to Mayuge, Uganda
Access to clean, safe drinking water is a fundamental human right and the cornerstone of healthy, prosperous communities. Amity Global Foundation, based in Canada, is proud to be a driving force in making this a reality for families in Uganda.
Through a vital collaboration with our Al-Salam Charity Foundation Uganda, we are implementing a dedicated water supply project to transform the lives of residents in the Mayuge District.
The Challenge in Mayuge
Currently, the community of Mayuge faces the daily challenge of securing safe water. Unclean water sources lead to preventable illnesses, particularly affecting children, and force women and girls to spend hours fetching water, time that could be used for education or income-generating activities.
Our Solution
By working hand-in-hand with local and international experts, we are designing and implementing a sustainable water solution to ensure a reliable and readily accessible source of clean water. This investment is not just in infrastructure, but in health, education, and long-term stability for the entire village.
A Global Partnership
This project is a testament to the power of international collaboration. As a Canadian NGO, we provide funding, oversight, and resources, while our Al-Salam Charity Foundation on the ground in Uganda brings essential local knowledge, technical expertise, and project management skills.
