Amity’s Vision for
Uganda Water Well Project
Imagine waking up every day and walking miles to fetch water. Not clean, clear water, but dirty, unsafe water from a pond or swamp. This is the daily reality for the people of rural Uganda, and for many others in the community.
Amity Global Foundation and Rahma Relief Foundation Uganda are joining forces to provide clean water to communities in Uganda.
The Water Crisis in Uganda
Uganda faces significant challenges with access to safe drinking water. In many rural areas, families rely on contaminated ponds, rivers, and swamps, which leads to waterborne diseases like cholera and typhoid. Women and girls often walk long distances to collect water, leaving them with little time for school, work, or other opportunities.
Amity Charity Steps In
In partnership, Amity Global Foundation and Rahma Relief Foundation Uganda are working to ensure families in Uganda have access to the clean water they deserve.
