Why We Fast: Discipline, Empathy, and Renewal
Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, a divine invitation to cultivate Taqwa (God-consciousness). By abstaining from food and drink, we refocus our hearts on faith and build a deep, lived empathy for those who go hungry every day.
